These are some pages of my sketchbook that I took with me on my trip to Norway. Every night I wrote down what we did and what we saw. I don't take it with we during the day, because I find it very hard to draw or write in public or at the moment that I'm walking in such wonderful landscape. And actually I write more then that I draw, so it's more "write a moment".... I found out that it brings back memories sometimes even more then looking at photo's. I try to do the same thing at home but at the end I don't do it, probably because every day is a bit the same.
I would love to stroll through this; a piece of art. looks like norway was exciting. well, in fact, I know norway IS exciting ;-)
ReplyDeleteSo cool! I've always admired people who make journals like this! I also like to write my travel memories down in a journal, but I can't draw well and sometimes I think it would be much cooler if I could, but I'm just disabled when it comes to making little pictures of what I see. Still, I'm planning to make some kinda journal for our trip to Sweden and Majorca which is in three weeks. I think I will add photos later to add visuality, because I'm so visual person and I need some kind of pictures. :) Glueing museum tickets and stuff like that would also be fun.

ReplyDeleteDe combi is toch mooi! Ik maak zelf ook overal verslagjes van. Ik schrijf, teken, stempel en plak in mijn boekjes. Heerlijk om er af en toe in te kijken.

I love those note books from travels, I did those when I was younger all the time, don't know why I've stopped. Sometimes notebooks are better reminder that photos.
