it's never what you think

So I started another big drawing.... I'm thinking about these drawings a lot lately: should I continue or should they go in another direction? How much drawings of little girls inspired by Pippi Longstocking with wapens can I make? Just to talk myself a little bit down (I'm good at that!). The thing is that I get bored with myself really fast and I surprise myself that I make these drawings now for the last two years. So I was thinking about this and I found a sketch that I made at the very beginning of these drawings. At the time I did'nt want to make this one because it's "different". Now I thought that it might be a new direction...but I don't know how it will turn out. Let's wait and see and I'll keep you posted!

  4. Congratulations Celine, as I see the changes, for an artist, are always positive, change is = Creativity
you will always learn something from the change
and finally if you do not like what you did. you can say: I tried
    Change, Celine, you always change,
boredom is not bad, I see it as an opportunity to start something new.
    Always go forward! :))))))))

  6. can't wait, can't wait... rush, rush *laughs. no seriously, that boredom is a tricky part. leave what you need to let behind, no danger in it. when you miss it, you can always come back.

  8. I don't know how it is with drawings, but with life, no matter how boring it gets, or how much you bore yourself, you can't force anything. it's going to be a long back and forth and eventually a more or less natural development. hang in there :)

  11. Celine, I have no cats
I had dogs all my life. I like cats, but I just had, at my parents home when I was very young. someday I'll have a cat again, it is a beautiful animal. for now, I can not because my dog would live with him fighting all the day!
in my sketches, there are things I dream, things that happen there one day, and many things that come to mind for no reason. :)))
