the wonders of my world

This little blackbird is one of them. In some earlier post I already told you that we have a pretty big garden. Every morning I feed the birds at different spots in the garden. Since I've red that blackbirds prefer to eat their food of the ground instead in a nest box I'll put some food on the ground. The same place every morning. Since a couple of months a lady blackbird is already waiting for me, almost every morning. And now she's not scared of me and get's really close. She already jumps to the ground and sits about one meter away from me and waits untill I'm ready. If she's not there in the morning I really miss her. It's a good way to start the day! And I wish all of you a good start in the new week!

  2. Celine, in my house we have several places where we put food and water for the birds, even a special container to put sugar water for hummingbirds. and we found that the birds are not animals whom have fear to humans. They even come to our table to eat bread crumbs. I congratulate you, yes, it's a good way to start the day!!!!

  5. ;^)))

    fijne dag!
